A Professional Manufacturer of Smart Interactive Screens For More Than 10 Years
Make this look super simple and cool.
8 "touch screen Internet radio that can be controlled with PC, smartphone and basically all machines with browser and Internet connection. . (
Find the speakers at the back from here; )
List of components :-
Raspberry pie, basically any one started from the first generation. -
Adafruit PiTfT touch screen-
Cable between the screen and raspberry.
Box printed with Printrbot manufacturer's kit.
The size in the figure is MM.
The plan is simple.
Make a desktop case for the screen and raspberry.
I had to put the bottom of the box 3mm higher than planned.
I was fooled by the length of the soldiers under the raspberry.
The 3D model of this case is made with ScetchUp, and wiitch is a free, excellent software.
The project will include printable files, but you can purchase them from here if you like and want to support my future projects.
The cost is only $1 and is very helpful to me :)
All the printable files I sell here!
The entire project is printed with Printrbot manufacturer's kit.
A simple and compact printer will do the job well.
The printing time of the whole case is about 2. 5 Hour's.
Height 0.
2mm, speed 50 mm/s.
Nozzle size is 0. 4mm.
Printing is supported.
Test if the component is suitable for the case.
In my case, the part just broke in place.
I have a plug-and-play Image of Adafruit that works with the screen right away during testing.
You can find images on the Adafruit website under the PiTfT screen.
Remember to fold the cable properly in the case.
If you like, I have booked a location for the four buttons under the screen.
I'm not good (suitable)
The button used in that place.
I used the base of the Volumio image.
It basically has a Web-based Ui witch, which means that if you write your Raspberry's IP address on your URL bar, it will open a page where you can control the raspberry.
In order for the screen to work, I have to install the driver on the screen and load the screen at startup.
I then had to install the LXDE environment and finally, with the Web Ui open, have raspberry's own internet browser open automatically.
See how the next step is done.
* Note * Volumio must be version 1.
Make the TFT screen work.
I will not guarantee that this will work in other versions of Volumio.
View the page for volumio.
If you want to use Volumio without a TFT screen, just use the latest version available.
To connect to the raspberry, it must be on the Internet.
Access it via SSH.
Putty is easy to use.
The basic user name is: root and Password: volumio1.
Burn the Volumio image to the SD card.
Find instructions from Volumio's website. 2.
Remap the partition size.
Add a line to the console at once and answer the "question" as shown below.
Continue after restart
Sudo size2fs/dev/root 3.

If it's not redoing the whole thing.
If the screen is black. continue.
Use the touch screen driver.
Write commands.
Sudo nano/etc/module and add it to the last line. stmpe-Save and exit.
The last thing about the touch screen is these.
Sudo mkdir/etc/X11/xorg. conf.
Dsudo nano/etc/X11/xorg. conf. d/99-calibration.
Write these lines to the screen and save.

Finally write sudo reboot 6.
Now that everything is in order, it's time to wake up the screen.
Writeframe buffer =/dev/fb1 startxYou should now have a picture on the screen.
To have it automatically start the screen when it is turned on, you have to make a new file to start it.
Sudo nano/etc/rc.
Add these lines locally before exiting 0 rows at the bottom.
Sudo modprobe spi

Best reboot and hope.
See that everything works the way it should.
Pop up some speakers on the back plug and click play.
If you have any questions, I will answer them as soon as possible. Almost forgot.
Stick the bottom cover to the bottom of the base.
Glue or tape or something.
If you want, you can make a small "cut" on the base of the SD card for easy removal. You know. . .
If you like to play Nes or other simulators with it; )
