This is the debut of Adelaide's new public transport smart card ticketing system.
It is called Metrocard and will be tried out by the start date of 2013 this year.
The new "touch and go" ticket verification system can use the existing magnetic Crouzet system, the new smart subway card, solo travel and one-day ticket as magnetic tickets.
Advertisers know that they will try out 10 new machines on the bus route across Adelaide Hill.
