He also suggested that a major organization and 15 villages should be adopted by each Postal Service to implement the Sampoorna Bima Gram program and that MNREGA and BPL accounts should be opened quickly.
The DoP is designed to integrate post office and core banking solutions (CBS)
A radical change in rural banking.
After the CBS linkage, customers of the post office will be able to enjoy services such as online banking, mobile banking and ATM.
Yadav said that after the CBS linkage, one of the most important roles the post office will play is direct cash transfer under the different government subsidy programs for the poor.
The director praised the postal staff for their better performance.
