voorhees high school education foundation seeks volunteers - document camera
A group of parents created the Voorhees High School Education Foundation in 2012.
Their goal is to bring students, parents, alumni, small businesses, companies and community members together to create and increase educational opportunities at woris High School, which is not included in the budget.
The foundation works actively to establish supportive relationships between schools and the business community through collaborative activities and programs.
Now, new members are needed for the foundation in 2018.
Current members have students who are about to graduate or who have already graduated and no longer volunteer with the foundation.
Therefore, this will allow almost no one in the foundation to continue in terms of supervision and guidance.
Thanks to the volunteers, the foundation successfully raised $100,000 over the six years it was founded.
Donations include scholarships as well as purchases, theater curtains, Snowman cooler in the science department, upright sports bikes, 3D printers, document cameras, set designs for TV studios, robotic kits, interactive learning centers and standard learning desks. An all-

An increasing number of communities are creating educational foundations to provide financial assistance to local schools, especially in recent years, where school budgets have been subject to stricter restrictions.
The Education Foundation can raise funds for schools to provide students with equipment, supplies, capital programs and scholarships.
Established as 501c3 non-Education Foundation
This way donations can be taxed.
The foundation operates as its own entity, separate from the school district.
The Voorhees High School Education Foundation is dedicated to raising funds for students and employees at Voorhees High School.
