"Ian none was declared one of the top finalists and she also won the championship for the age group.
This means that Ian none returned to Washington town with a copy of her graffiti and award framework along with a $5,000 college scholarship.
Her graffiti and 50 other state winners will be on display at the American Museum of Natural History until June 14.
"She was very excited.
"Maria's mother, Nancy Ione, said:" She is excited to be there and to win her age group . " She traveled to New York with her family.
There they visited the unique Google office in New York City, and Ian none had the opportunity to participate in a variety of creative thinking activities with visiting judges and other winners.
"I like to see other winners," said Maria, who said she knew that she would get the first place once she saw the overall winning graffiti during the online voting.
"I know it will win immediately," the student, who is passionate about digital painting, said . ".
"This is one of my favorites.
"Maria spent nearly six hours working hard on her graffiti, drawing entirely on a tablet with special software.
She had a good time in New York and was happy to win, but she wasn't sure if she could continue next year.
