The MS Word 2007 interface in the GUI is just one of the few new features of Word 2007.
Other features include the ability to handle certain tasks without a third-party application.
People say that navigation in MS Word 2007 is completely different from Word 2003.
This is true to some extent-there is no "confusing" cascading menu in Word 2007.
The menu tab remains the same.
Instead of menus and sub-menusmenus (
Navigation such as Word 2003)
, You can easily identify the icons for each menu tab.
This is what they call the ribbon interface of Word 2007 (See Fig 1).
This is the best change Microsoft has brought to the app and its users.
As mentioned above, the ribbon interface comes with a menu tab with a set of icons for each tab.
The menu tabs and icons are self-explanatory.
For example, the home page tab contains the most commonly used commands-formatting, finding, and replacing.
Similarly, the Insert tab tells you that it contains commands related to importing or embedding external objects (
Images, tables, etc)
To the current document.
The ribbon interface of Word 2007 provides a clean environment for working with documents.
You can easily jump from command to another without having to browse through a large number of menus and sub-menus
Menu, and you don't need to write down the location of your favorite command either.
If you use certain commands frequently, you can add them to the Word 2007 Quick Access toolbar (Fig 2).

You just have to right-click the command in the ribbon and select Add to Quick Access toolbar ".

The right side of Windows is the Office 2007 button (Fig 3).
Click this button to provide general options for creating, opening, saving, or exiting programs.
There are also very few advanced features that we will look at in the next section.
If you want to customize Word 2007, you can use the Word Options button in the menu that appears when you click the Office 2007 button.
In order to further reduce the confusion, Word 2007 introduces a context menu (Fig 4).
These menus will only appear if you need them.
The most common ones are-image and table context menus.
People often use images and tables in documents.
But there is no separate table menu in Office 2007.
You can insert a table using the Insert tab.
However, when formatting the table, you will find that once you click on the table, a related menu will appear instead of the "Evergreen menu ".
The same is true for images and other documents.
The Office 2007 basic navigation chart further reveals the new GUI.
More features won't take much time here.
You can use some options in Word 2007 instead of using Outlook or any other third party application (

These options include: uploading documents to SharePoint or blogs, sending documents by email without having to open Outlook, encrypting documents without using any third-party applications, digitally signing
You can find all the Word 2007 advanced features in the menu displayed by the Office 2007 button.
To upload documents to a blog, you need to have an existing Blog.
When you move, you can create a workspace in SharePoint at any time.
Click the Office 2007 button menu and click Publish to access these options.
Click the send option to send the document by email or fax.
Encrypt or sign MS Word 2007 documents using the prepare submenu.
You can also customize Word 2007 using the same menu.
Word 2007 new features are nothing more than: clean, simple and quick options to work on documents;
Also, perform document-specific tasks without closing the application compared to previous versions.
In short, even if you're compiling a book, The Word 2007 new feature can help you save time while working on any type of document!
