WhatsApp has introduced updates to iPhone users, bringing many new features.

40 enables you to lock your favorite chats at the top of the chat screen to make them easy to access, regardless of when you last exchanged messages with that contact.
In May, WhatsApp introduced this feature to all Android users after a month of beta testing, and now iPhone users can also use this feature on the iPhone.
With the new feature, WhatsApp users can lock up to three contacts on top of the rest of the conversation.
To lock the chat on iOS, make sure you get the latest WhatsApp update from the App Store, swipe right and the pin option is now displayed next to the unread option for the chat.
Click on the Pin and the chat will move to the top until you open it in the future.
As mentioned above, the maximum limit for pin chat is up to three, so choose wisely the chat you prefer to stay ahead of you.
After the cap limit, the app displays a notification that you can only lock up to 3 chats if you try to lock another chat.
Android users officially announced support for all file types last week, and now iPhone users have also mentioned this feature in their official update change log confirming its arrival.
With this new feature, WhatsApp now allows you to send any type of document and will not limit your choice of file type as before.
To attach a document-open the chat, click attach and select the required document.

40 also added support for quick deletion with just a click and hold of a set of photos.
Due to the new photo bundling feature, a large chunk of photos sent immediately after other photos are bundled together will automatically save the chat screen space.
These bundled photos can now be deleted all at once.

Clicking the remove all option will remove all photos from the chat immediately without the need to select a separate photo as before.
Interestingly, this update also has a hidden feature, which is probably the most interesting one.
WhatsApp is obviously testing the ability to play YouTube videos online, which means you don't need to leave the messaging app to check out the latest trending videos.
This feature is not yet open to everyone and it will be interesting if this happens.
