NEW YORK (TheStreet)--
Scott McNealy, former CEO of Sun Microsystems, is not an outspoken person, whether it's about the Fed, politics, Silicon Valley or his new company Wayin, which tells advertisers who watch content online, and give them a better understanding of their marketing efforts.
McNealy, 60, who helped Sun during the boom in Silicon Valley in the 1990 s, is now proud to be able to show his teenage boys what he has done in his life.
McNealy said in a telephone interview: "When my boys were 2, 4, 6 and 8, I left Sun and now they are between 13 and 19
"They were happy to see me back at work ---
They saw 5,000 yards staring at dinner.
I got up three times at dinner and called and I was working on weekends.
My golf skills are declining and my waist line is growing.
It's hard for Wayne Gretzky to do this, but I can do it.
"In 2010, Sun is by Oracle (ORCL -Get Report)for $7.

But he points out that he remains focused on Oracle and picks up the phone whenever Larry Ellison, Oracle's CTO calls.
"Whenever they call, I will help and I will be invited to the meetings and shows they have. " he said.
"But I'm busy myself these days.
"Wayin is far from Sun, where McNealy and Jonathan Schwartz sell computers to engineers, creating languages such as Unix computer languages and Java.
Despite this, McNeilly is still proud of his new career.
"Everyone is trying to figure out if they're going to get Uber," says McNealy, referring to industries that are disrupted by emerging private companies.
"We believe that TV and traditional advertising will attract Uber, but they are still the main form of participation.
All of this will be touched and [be]
Interactive, realtime marketing.
Think of us as a digital advertising agency with a huge database.
"The advertising market has been in a changing state, and traditional advertising venues like TV are being subverted by social networking giants like Facebook (FB -Get Report)and Twitter (TWTR -Get Report)
And the continued growth of internet advertising giants like Alphabet (GOOG -Get Report)(GOOGL -Get Report)Google.
Wayin generated revenue through the cloud subscription model, but McNealy declined to say exactly how much revenue the company generated. Denver-

The company is trying to connect advertisers and marketers with people who actually watch and participate in advertising, which McNealy believes is different from traditional advertising agencies.
"We inject conversation and machine learning into society as a whole and use the database to own and acquire (
User generated content
"Because of the nature of real time, persuasion activities," McNealy said . ".
"My kids don't watch TV, but they often watch their computers, mobile phones, iPads, billboards and digital signage.
I think it will be new persuasion and engagement.
