Yahoo Japan is clearly Japan's largest website and one of Yahoo's biggest online assets, and the company recently announced a new smartphone for the market.
This is an Android-powered device, a renamed version of Sharp's smartphone.
Yahoo Japan teamed up with mobile carrier Softbank, which will ship Yahoo phones sometime at the end of September.
The device was originally a Sharp aquos phone from the high-end Softbank 009SH, but it comes with some additional Yahoo integration.
The phone will be bundled with Yahoo Japan home, Yahoo Loco, Yahoo Japan auction and other Yahoo services.
